If your pay stub or pay statement indicates that you are paying "AGCY SHOP" fees you are not yet a full CSEA union member.  "Agency Shop" indicates that you are paying the equivalent deduction amount normally charged as CSEA Union Dues because of the Agency Shop provision of the New York State Taylor Law/PERB policy. 

You are not yet a CSEA union member when in Agency Shop status.
CSEA Members
No additional dues deduction will be incurred for anyone who wishes to become a full CSEA union member. 
Union Members are entitled to vote in union elections for their officers and Yes or No on new union contract proposals. 
Agency Shop employees don't vote on union matters.
