March 6, 2012 road trip to Albany, NY to lobby our elected representatives to present our issues, our concerns, and our ideas.  This event enables working union members to interact with the Senate and Assembly representatives and their staff members in their offices in the Legislative Office Building in Albany.

AFSCME provides comfort bus transportation, light breakfast on the bus, and a served lunch upon arrival in Albany.  Issues are presented to the assembled AFSCME members together with the office locations and time schedules for our visits to the New York State Senators and Assemblymen and women.  CSEA President Danny Donohue, State Senator Diane SavinoAFSCME Pres. Jerry McEntee, NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Senate Conference Leader John Sampsonand other leaders addressed the approximately 2,000 union members in attendance at the 2010 and 2011 Lobby Day events.
