Approximately 50 CSEA union members from Local 860 traveled to Albany, NY to lobby the state elected officials who make our laws.

We met with state Senate and Assembly members and their staffers to discuss the issues affecting our jobs, our families, and our future in our local and unit.

Lobby Day is one of the most popular annual events and demonstrated, in person, that we are voters and taxpayers as well as AFSCME/CSEA members.

Since the start of organized labor, meeting and discussing issues with all levels of our elected officials has been one of the most important functions of unions.
