Don Bosco Center / CSEA 860 Food Drive

CSEA WESTCHESTER LOCAL 860’s Community Action Committee is asking you to help us help others in the community of Port Chester, New York at the Don Bosco Center.

The Don Bosco Center in Port Chester currently serves over 7500 households (roughly 18,000 members; 60% of which are children) by providing the necessary staples in their food pantry program. Everyone is feeling the effects of these tough economic times; some more than others. If each member of every unit can contribute one food pantry item, it could make a difference in someone’s life, even in the smallest way.

Items of necessity at the Don Bosco Food Pantry are as follows:

Boxed Cereal, Coffee, 2 pound bags of rice,
Disposable diapers of assorted sizes, Baby wipes
Plastic juice bottles or cardboard juice boxes

Please bring one of the above non-perishable items to the Local Office and place in the collection bin.
The Community Action Committee will deliver these items to the Don Bosco Center in Port Chester for distribution to their membership.

Thank you for caring and choosing to assist someone who is less fortunate.

Sincerely,

CSEA Westchester Local 860 Community Action Committee
