Oct 6 2010 Confined Space Awareness Training

Entering and working in confined spaces can be very dangerous.  The hazards of a space can be controlled if employers implement a comprehensive and compliant program.  The Permit-Required Confined Space Standard (29 CFR 1910.146) regulates what employers must do before a worker is allowed to enter a space.

The CSEA Occupational and Health Department will be offering Confined Space Awareness Training at all 6 CSEA region offices as well as the Westchester County Local 860 office.  This course will focus on what employers need to do to implement and maintain a confined space entry program.
