Oct 6 2010 Confined Space Awareness Training
Entering and working in confined spaces can be very dangerous. The hazards of a space can be controlled if employers implement a comprehensive and compliant program. The Permit-Required Confined Space Standard (29 CFR 1910.146) regulates what employers must do before a worker is allowed to enter a space. The CSEA Occupational and Health Department will be offering Confined Space Awareness Training at all 6 CSEA region offices as well as the Westchester County Local 860 office. This course will focus on what employers need to do to implement and maintain a confined space entry program.
CSEA Confined Space Awareness Training: This training is available to all CSEA Members AND their Employers. Two sessions will be offered: Call the CSEA Local 860 union office at NOTE: This is an Awareness training and is not the Permit-Required Confined Space Standard 29CFR- 1910.146 see the printable pdf flier linked below for your worksite
